We welcome Stephen Carruthers and Rebecca Tuke to Abley. Steve joins our team as a Principal Transportation Planner and Becky as a Graduate Transportation Engineer.
Steve has significant experience in transport planning and project delivery for local and central government agencies for road and water infrastructure. Steve has worked on both the client and consultant side of the industry and has experience in all stages of project management from funding and development to delivery. He was the Project Manager for the Victoria Tunnel refurbishment in Wellington for NZ Transport Agency and was involved in design and delivery while on secondment with Memorial Park Alliance. Steve is passionate about turning ideas into reality and enjoys seeing his efforts resulting in positive change for society.
Becky completed her Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in 2017. She was fortunate to spend a semester of her degree on exchange in Sweden where she was inspired to follow a path in transportation. This travel experience emphasised how transportation and society shape each other, and she is excited about furthering her knowledge and experience here at Abley. Becky particularly wants to enable people to use more sustainable modes of transport.
