Michael recently graduated with a ME in Transportation from the University of Canterbury. Since joining Abley Transportation Consultants in May 2007, he has worked with both private clients and local authorities and provided high quality transport assessments. Due to his strong theoretical background, he has the ability to solve complex transportation problems, and has recently had the results of his masters project involving international crash experience comparisons using accident predication models published in the Transportation Research Board Journal.

Senior GIS Consultant

Paul specialises in the use of GIS to deliver simple solutions to complex problems. Examples include the use of GIS to analyse transportation networks to determine the shortest route between two locations or determining the spatial variability in access to services across a city. His role also includes spatial and tabular data analysis, cartographic presentation, graphical manipulation and website development. His specalised skill sets include cartography, database design, GPS field surveying and scripting in various computer languages.
