Favona Limited Partnership approached Abley to prepare an Integrated Transport assessment (ITA) for a resource consent application for Block 5 within Market Cove, a new residential development site. Market Cove is located in a Special Housing Area in Favona, which is to provide 1300 residential units over several stages. Block E5 is to comprise 196 apartments with 200 car parking and 108 cycle parking spaces in the basement level.
The ITA includes assessments of the trip generation and of the transport effects of the proposal, including trip distribution, access to the development, road safety, consistency with transport strategies and mitigation measures. It assesses the proposal against the transport rules of the Proposed Auckland Unitary Plan, and includes an overall summary of the anticipated effects of the proposal and suitable mitigation measures.
