Robyn is a Senior Transportation Analyst with consulting experience in the transport modelling area, and in the regional government public transport sector. As a technical analyst, traffic modeller and public transport specialist, she has an excellent understanding strategic modelling, matrix calibration, public transport fare box recovery and Public Transport Operating models complemented with other technical skills.
What made you decide to become a Transportation Analyst?
I’ve have always been interested in travel and transportation, as well as solving problems and working with numbers. I also have a passion to see the transport networks more efficiently.
What did you do before joining Abley?
I have had several planning and analytical roles working in the provision of Public Transport, outbound wholesale travel and motherhood.
What does a typical day in the office include?
After a 5.30am training session I bike to work then work on a variety of projects including transport modelling and economic evaluations.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
Working within the Abley team looking for solutions that help clients solve their problems and being part of creating positive, efficient long term travel solutions for the wider community.
What’s the most challenging thing about your job?
I enjoy the challenge and variety of working on lots of different projects and the opportunity to continually learn and grow.
What’s been your career highlight so far?
It’s always a highlight when I get feedback from clients that they are impressed with my work and I have made a positive difference for them.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I love triathlon, cycle touring and going on outdoor adventures with my children.
