With a theme of ‘leading the way – towards zero’, the Australasian Road Safety Conference (ARSC) 2019 will showcase the best researchers, practitioners, policy makers and industry experts in the road safety industry from across Australasia. Paul Durdin, Director and Group Manager of Transportation examines the robustness of using historic crash data versus a proactive risk approach to fore-casting future crash occurrence in terms of location and interventions, and identifies the benefits of using the latter.
This year’s conference is being held in Adelaide from 24 -27 September.
