Shane – now a certified Commissioner!

Shane Ingley of our Auckland office is now a certified independent hearings Commissioner which means he is able to sit on the hearings panel on behalf of councils. The ‘Making Good Decisions Programme’ provides certification and helps councilors, community board members and independent commissioners make better decisions under the Resource Management Act. This is a wonderful achievement for Shane, and we congratulate him.

Strategic Road Safety work wins international award

Our strategic road safety work was internationally recognised at the Association of Transportation Safety Information Professionals (ATSIP) Traffic Records Forum held in New Orleans 6-9 August 2017.  Abley Transport Consultants was awarded First Place in the "Best Visualization Competition" for forecasting crash locations using existing transport data.
