On Tuesday 23 March, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern lifted New Zealand’s COVID-19 alert status to Level 3 and announced this will move to Level 4 on Wednesday 25 March for a minimum of 4 weeks. Under Level 4, all non-essential services must close their physical premises and staff must self-isolate and work from home.
We wanted to let you know that Abley proactively tested our systems via a company-wide ‘work from home’ trial in advance of the move to Level 3 and this trial was very successful. Therefore, we want to assure you that the entire Abley team is enabled to work remotely under the heightened alert status. This means we are able to fulfill all existing project commitments that would otherwise have been completed within our office environments.
As a result of the Level 4 alert status, we are expecting some staff to have spare capacity, which means we have the ability to take on additional project work. Providing us with continued project work is the best way you can support us.
So if there is a project that you had been meaning to initiate prior to the lift in COVID-19 alert status, then we would encourage you to do that with our support. Likewise, if as a result of COVID-19 your organisation has suffered reduced capacity or requires urgent assistance, then please reach out to us to discuss what resource we can offer you to support you through this unprecedented time.
Stay safe (at home), be kind and keep in touch.
