You will be focused on providing excellent quality deliverables, have outstanding client management skills, be a team player able to both support more senior staff and lead junior staff. You will 'know how to do things right' and also 'do the right things'. You will be inquisitive and seek out innovative solutions while also being communicative and nurturing good relationships.
Your title will be PRINCIPAL TRANSPORTATION ENGINEER/PLANNER. You will lead the Development Planning area, and will work alongside clients and stakeholders to help them understand the intricacies of the Resource Management Act (RMA) as it applies to transport, and its impact on specific projects. You will secure work within this business area and lead a group of experts within the wider team to provide innovative solutions to exceed client expectations.

A degree, postgraduate or masters qualification in engineering or a specific qualification in transportation engineering or planning. Your qualification would ideally be Washington Accord accredited.
You would ideally be CPEng (or equivalent) or making progress twoards the level of qualification.
It's up to you. This role could be based in either our Auckland or Christchurch, New Zealand office.
